What is Condition?

There are 5 different general conditions used on Don't Miss Out and on the dontmissout_au store.

These are: New, Manufacturer Resealed, Refurbished, As New, Good and Poor.

 New

The item is new and has not been used. They are complete in the original manufacturer’s packaging with all accessories and manuals etc. and will be delivered as described. Some New products (especially IT components) may be packaged in a plain outer carton (OEM box) or non retail packaging.

*Note: Some use of a purely technical nature may occur in testing, unlocking or software installation etc.

 Manufacturer Resealed

The product may have either been:

a) removed from its packaging by the manufacturer for testing or other purposes;

or

b) opened and returned by a customer with little or no use.

In either case, some accessories may vary from standard which will be confirmed in the package contents. In most cases products are delivered in the original manufacturer’s packaging.

 Refurbished

Manufacturer’s will sell products deemed refurbished that fall into the following categories: Carton damaged (box damaged or ripped during delivery), Cosmetic damage (marked or damaged during transit mainly relating to the white goods category), a defect during production (a part or component that is required to be changed by manufacturer post production i.e. car recalls), or the product was faulty out of the box or within the first 14 days (DOA or ELF).

When an electronic product is shipped back to a manufacturer or authorised agent for whatever reason the item can no longer be sold as "new", but can only be sold as "refurbished".

Traditionally products that are refurbished due to a fault are repaired by the manufacturer or authorised agent to meet or exceed the original specifications and functionality. They will be in an ‘as new’ or 'good' condition unless specified when auctioned or sold by Don't Miss Out.

As New items are either ex-demonstration or refurbished items, and warranty will apply as per the warranty tab on a per item basis.
